Route is already on sale on Vueling website
PMI 14:50 - LHR 16:10
LHR 17:15 - PMI 20:20
Route seems to be daily
Where are these slots coming from? Are other Vueling routes from LHR being cut?
Or is it a MAD/BCN slot?
I'm very surprised by this new route. http://www.vueling.com/en/

Sounds good, although I can't help but think that this kinds of service would be better served at LGW rather than LHR. Having said that BA CityFlyer manage to get good load factors on their LCY - PMI route in the summer.

Fares look rather high, certainly looks like they are going after more of the premium passenger. Can see it working too, with the demand to PMI and on to MAH and IBZ.

I've flown with vueling in the past, and I've actually found their level of service to be better than Iberia. Maybe things have changed since then, but I remember booking and as soon as I had paid I had the chance to select my seat on the plane for free, and I think there was even a free checked baggage allowance. On board, they always seemed to be playing Moby and the staff were young and friendly.

BMI operated LHR to PMI for many years, sometimes twice a day, but stopped a couple of years ago. I am surprised there is no LHR-AGP service too, there is a lot of British money down there.

If it was not for the awful legroom I'd use the service, however I'd rather pay the extra legroom seats on Monarch from Luton, I tad further away but a more comfortable journey.
I think the service will work, mind those July fares are pretty steep.

Quoting santos (Reply 7): currently they operate LHR-ALC, but route will soon move to LGW
The current 3 weekly LHR-ALC is staying even when the 17 x weekly LGW-ALC starts for the Summer season.
Of course the flight from LHR might eventually end when a better use for those slots is found, but for now it will exist alongside new flights from Gatwick.
