NRT-BKK is typically operated by a 333, so that is the source of your confusion. If you're looking at a schedule that shows it as a 332, then likely one of the mainland routes has a 332 incorporated in that particular schedule. If you're looking at a specific day where NRT-BKK was operated by a 332, then chances are it was just an equipment change.

Between mid-December and the end of February, there are various LAX, MSP and SIN flights scheduled with the A330-200s. Then BKK daily from March 31 onwards for some time it seems.
I'm not seeing the winter change (Dec-Feb) you mention, but I agree that it changes the end of March to 332 and it doesn't appear there is a directly corresponding mainland change yet. However, I would expect DL hasn't yet finalized the equipment types for next spring yet.
