A friend has informed me that TransAsia's first A330 has been delivered and will arrive in Taiwan (TPE possibly) today (27 November, 2012), and there will be a ceremony welcoming it at TSA tomorrow afternoon.
If anyone has the opportunity, it should be good to see.

Quoting WROORD (Reply 1): I read someplace that they will get two A330-300s in additiona to some A320 and A321
Indeed, GE has two A333 on order, as well as a pile of A32x aircraft, both current and NEO versions.
The A333 are slated to fly to SIN and other Asian destinations -- I don't remember all the destinations off-hand. GE is, overall, a very well-managed airline and has been profitable for most, if not all, of the 60 years it's been in business.
I'm tired of the A vs. B sniping. Neither make planes that shed wings randomly!
