I searched for this on the forum however, I came up empty handed. Delta bought the ex TWA 757s to operate TATL routes that were thin. Is Delta still sending 757s across the Atlantic or have 767s mostly taken this over. If I am not mistaken Delta was wanting lie flat seats in Business Elite across the pond. If Delta is still operating 757s across the pond where are they coming from and where are they going?

The 75E aircraft you are referring to are used TATL as mentioned but also heavily used on JFK-LAX, JFK-SFO and soon JFK-SEA to offer BE all the way to premium west coast destinations from JFK for the European traveler.

Quoting delta747tlv (Reply 5): 75A is our other TATL 757, they seem older which would lead me to believe they may be the ex twa a/c
No, the ex-TW ones are the 75Es. The 75As are the ex-NW ETOPS 757s that were previously also used for TATL 757 service but these have been yanked and are now operating some interport flights out of NRT.

Pretty sure I saw a TATL 757 in Maui last night, headed to LAX. I tried to look it up before boarding started on my flight, but I didn't have time. The last couple times I've showed up to work my red eye, DL had a 767 going to LAX (which also surprised me).
