Does anyone know if the airbuses originally from United have the DirecTv upgrade like the domestic 737s?
Ive looked on the United website which shows the current status of the upgraded 737 fleet. (and 2 of the 9 757-300s)

Not yet...they haven't announced whether or not the Airbii will be receiving DirecTv or not. My guess is that they won't but who knows.

It's highly unlikely that they will receive the DirecTV upgrade -- it's a very nice feature to have, but the future of IFE rests with wireless solutions, and I expect United will prioritize installation of the planned robust Wifi systems on fleet types that presently lack DTV/AVOD.

The legacy Continental 737 and 757 fleet has LiveTV, not DirecTV.

That's the name of the IFE, but it is indeed a DirectTV satellite feed.
