Link Above. Appears as though FedEx has delivered N268FE to the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority (Authority that oversees BUF & IAG) as a training instrument for firefighters at the airport. AT least it is one less three holer being turned into beer cans for the time being.

Article states the plane had about 39,000+ cycles between Air Canada and FedEx. Anybody know what line number this bird is and when exactly AC took delivery?

I can proudly say i was one of the last people to do weight and balance for this plane. I will also say it was time for retirement...this bird was a lemon.

Does Buffalo Fire Dept have an existing airframe.

If so, what will happen to it.

Many thanks.

FedEx seems to donate their retired aircraft to anyone who asks (museums, airports, universities, etc.). Why do they do so but other airlines don't?
