Aeroflot Goes Year-round To Miami

Aeroflot has extended it's seasonal Miami-Moscow service to year-round.

Service is now in GDS - it will operate at a reduced summer frequency of 2x weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays with A330-200 equipment. Summer timetable:

SU 110 SVO 1130-1535 MIA TuFr 332
SU 111 MIA 1740-1250+1 SVO TuFr 332

Combined with Transaero's service, Miami will actually have service to all three airports in Moscow - SVO, DME and VKO.

How many years has Aeroflot served MIA? I seem to remember at least as far back as 1995. Which concourse do they use?

Service launched 27 October 2012. It uses Concourse F.

Aeroflot did serve MIA throughout the 1990s.

2x weekly only?? What kind of premium traffic do they plan to attract with that schedule? Its true however that SU operates IAD only once a week, so this schedule is not so bad compared to that (plus DC is a much more higher-yielding destination than MIA). I will add that the summer schedule is much better timed for onward connections from SVO compared to the winter schedule where the plane stays 5 hours on the ground at MIA, so that much i would say.
