Dragonair received its first 747-312 (SF) on September 4th. The aircraft spent much of September 5th doing a test flight.

The aircraft is registered B-KAA which is very interesting as this is the first ever registration not in the B-H** range.

What, I saw it landing yesterday and I didn't know it was the delivery flight!

Anyway that aircraft was parked just to the south of the passneger terminal building where Vietnam Airlines are used to park at.

Just to add that I saw the aircraft on final approach from a train at 1745 local time.

I know SIA sold some of their old B747-312s to Dragon Air for conversion into freighters. Quite confident it was SIA's one.

Singapore Airlines was its former operator. Hope this helps!

I have no idea what they are doing with those aircraft. B-HXO arrived yesterday still in basic SQ colours. HXM and HXN are still sitting outside HAECO. They have been for a while now, and I cannot see them doing any specific work on them so I am not sure. Looks like there's either no hurry to get them done, or they are waiting for something!
