Well I thought it was terrific. I flew on it 4 times. all flights over 4 hours. 2 over 13 hours!

It is not just any airline. It is THE airline.

I flew with CX first in May 1997 - to HKG, then SEL and back, then AKL, back to HKG and then TPE and back. Service, at every stage and in each and every flight, was excellent - punctual, great food, just perfect in every way.

Then, earlier this year, I got to fly with them again - to HKG and then Osaka, back to HKG and onto LHR. The airport was this new CLK thingey, rather than the great old Kai Tak (do I sound just slightly biased?) but it was still the same old CX - wonderful service, wonderful crews and the KIX-HKG service was probably the best flight I'd ever had.

Well, if you haven't got the general gist by now . . !

Cathay is the world's best airline, based in Asia's greatest city and from CLK, so two out of three ain't bad! No seriously, it's the only choice.

AMEN kaitak! even though my name is us521 my favorite airline is CX! even though kai tak was a little rough on the runway an if you had to abort.FULL throttle and pull up fast. Ive never been to the new airport though none will be like Kai TAK.

CX did well on F and C class. But sometime, if you are on Y class. Sometime,The service is not good.
Eventhought, I like to fly on CX due to it is easier to take a cockpit visit even jumpseat on landing.
I think CX will improve their service due to some airliners are doing very well on Y class. Such as SQ,TG...

I love CX's service ... everything is smooth ( although its a shame i flew the LHR and AMS sector at Hong Kong just 3 months before they refitted their cabin to the new one with PTVs)
