Arubaanse Luchtvaart Maatschappji, dba - Aruba Airlines has applied with the DOT for authority to engage in scheduled service between Aruba, intermediate points and the United States as authorized in openskies agreements.

Aruba Airlines states it intends to utilize its 2-class 150-seat A320 equipment initially on a AUA - Miami routing commencing in 2013.

Interesting, let's hope it will indeed take off. Flights are also planned for Brazil (Sao Paulo I believe).
