Hi guys,

I only wanna know in which EUROPEAN (except russian one) airports can I spot/met the IL-96-300 in Domodedovo and Aeroflot colourscheme?
I thought it was possible to spot it in Faro, but I do not have info about it.

I thanked you in advance,

Bien à vous,
Benjamin

It would appear that the IL-96 isn't actually the scheduled aircraft on many a European route, rather operates instead of another (smaller) aircraft when demand warrants it. Thus, it is highly unlikely that you can plan to see an IL-96 in Europe (other than in Russia or the CIS), so it will be largely down to luck.

I forgot to add to my first post in this thread:

I flew aboard one of Aeroflot's (large but awfully basic) IL-96s from SVO to DEL on August 18.

Thanks,
is it a chartered aircraft or a scheduled service?

I live in San Francisco and the Il-96-300 used fly here. It's a great looking airplane. Now it's been replaced by either a 767 or a 777.

Helsinki-Vantaa usually gets B737, Tu-154 or occasionally an IL-62. Maybe the IL-96 sometimes but as an equipment substitution.

More seriously, thanks a lot to all of you, for the informations!

One little more things, did an IL-96-300 ever been spotted in Zaventem?

Bien à vous,

Benjamin

P.S: thanks Rajno1 for your comment, You've learned me something.

FRA, saturday and sunday until end of September. They arrive at 12.35 midday. Although that it will always be a IL-96 isn´t certain, sometimes you´ll get bored seeing a A310 instead.
