Yes was posted a few days ago in the Turkish aviation thread.

They also are working on setting up a codeshare deal with THY.

With inability to serve the EU directly, Istanbul is about as close as PR can get.

If the market is large enough, a 77W would do great. If the range isn't an issue, then a 333 could work, but it would be a pretty long 333 route. Otherwise a 343.

PR announced that IST, KWI and DXB are on the table for next year, plus a third return to RUH if my memory serves me right. If an exemption from the EU blacklist is secured next year, we may also see them return to CDG first (according to my friend whose mom works in upper management).

IST, if launched, will be served using the new HGW A330s that are supposed to come online next year.

Seems they´re coming closer (to Europe) now. GREAT !
If the IST service is a non-stop I´d be even willing to consider self-connecting in IST FRA-IST//IST-MNL(-CEB)
But PR might even try to code share with a european carrier so passengers won´t have to self connect until PR flies direct into the EU.
Remains (at least for me) the question whether PR is actually also working on improving the "inflight experience" to catch up with their competitors namely EY/QR/EK/etc. towards Europe (geographically IST is already on the european continent) ...
