TAP hits 10 Million Passenger mark

TAP flight TP052 from Belo Horizonte arrived in Lisbon at 11:08 am on 24 December, Christmas Eve, carrying the airline’s 10 millionth passenger in 2012, a number never before achieved in a full year of operations.

From Norwegian article:

TAP official pressrelease:

Those are nice numbers for TAP. How do they compare to TAM on the Europe - Brazil segment ?

Great achievement for TP, as they had a big increase of passengers with exactly the same fleet as a year ago, new routes have been opened and a few increased.
USA up 19,3%(thanks to MIA)
Africa up 10,4%
Brazil routes load factor was 83%, still showing good demand.

As we are talking about TP, some news from a court in Brazil, demanding that a TP A330-200 should be left in a airport in Brazil to repay a debt of the Portuguese State to an official worker of the Portuguese embassy in Brasilia.
I can't find an english source, but google translation is not too bad.

Ahah pretty crazy stuff. How much do embassy workers make in Brazil that it takes an A330 to pay them?
From what I hear the case will go no where. Apparently the judge is pretty ignorant of the fact that TAP's assets are not government property.

Any news if Avianca's (Synergy group) will re-send the proposal after first rejection?
