They are working together. It's called an Alliance. NW puts its flight numbers on CO Flights, and Co puts its flight numbers on NW Flights. Where are you traveling from? and Why does flying on Northwest "bite"?

oh, im sorry you must have got me wrong. i ment that it "bite" that we have to make stops in Minn. MN and Houston, Tx. i am sorry that i may have worded that wrong. I live in SD so NW is one of the main carriers here! i enjoy flying NW!

No problem. By the way, NW has a seasonal Saturday only nonstop MSP-FLL-MSP. Also, if you don't wish to switch aircraft twice, NW has several nonstops in the winter season to MIA, not too far from Fort Lauderdale.

thanks for that advice...but we got these first class tickets for a pretty good price so i dont think we will be switching, do you think there is any good chance we will get on a plane bigger than a DC-9? thoes are the main planes taht come up here i would really like a change for a while! i have been on much larger planes internationaly but i was just wondering since we are flying to and from some pretty large airports if there is any chance we may?

Probably DC-9s for now, you might get on an ARJ or an A319. From MSP to IAH, there is a good chance you will be on an A319 or A320. And from IAH to FLL, you will be on a 737 or 757. Any more questions, email me at
