Yes, TWA does have one of its STL-PHX flights on a 717. PHX is certainly within the 717's range from STL; I don't find it that hard to believe they would put it on the PHX route...

Yeah, one of STL-PHX flights are on a 717.
One of the STL-DEN flights is on a 717 now too.
I absolutely LOVE the 717, I may go to DEN one day just to see it.
Regards.

Why not go to LGB & see where they're assembled instead? Regards.

FlagshipAZ,
Yeah I should, I recently went to SNA to visit some relatives, and we passed by LGB. I would've had a quick visit, but I only had 3 days, and the reason I went is to visit my relatives that I haven't seen in a long time.
Regards.

Is it just me, or is that 717 smokin' a bit in that shot? What happened to the ultra-efficient, ultra-quiet, ultra-clean and ultra-fuel efficient BR715?!!

Most jet engines will smoke at full power. The BR715 is no exception. There is another, very EARLY pic of a 717 in Boeing house colors taking off on this website, and that one was smoking too.
It is still ridiculously efficient. And low-polluting. It is, however, still a jet engine.
