I know Delta has already transferred some of its mainline flights to T4. Any idea when the remainder will be done and which destinations first. My understanding is that the initial completion date for Delta's T4 extension is May 2013 so not quite sure what they have planned after May.

One of my friends at DL said they were to move into T4 by the end of this month or early Feb. once they move into T4 the flights will be split among T4 and T2 with T3 to be vacated and demolished.

I'm glad to see that this move will be soon. I flew out of T3 last Friday and it was a madhouse that seemed to be three terminals sloppily linked together. I flew out of T4 too and it was a lot nicer.

Moving early huh? That's good.

I hope, like B6, they really take the time to make a seamless transition.

How are the renovations on the exisiting part of T4 going? Security/Checkin areas? Are they done yet? If not will they be done by the time Delta transitions over?

I remember reading something from DL very recently that T4 will not be full ops until May I believe

Truly sad to see the destruction of T4 by Delta just like they destroyed T3. And why do they hold on to the piece of crap T2.

How is DL destroying T4, they have made major improvements to the building. Including a brand new SkyClub, the SkyTerrace, new seating all through the concourse. All that I have seen that DL has done with terminal 4 is spend millions on new amenties. Terminal 2 also underwent a major interior upgrade and personally looks way better than it has ever looked. From the outside, Terminal 2 still looks mighty shabby.

Oh you mean turning it into a really large terminal? Redoing the security checkpoint, check in area, and baggage facilities that were all 15 years old with no update in sight?

Dont know the last time you went through there, but this heavily used terminal needed a little spruce up. Delta did much more than that
