Just sounds like anti Pakistan propaganda from India. They know millions will read this and believe it and enforce the previous propaganda they have read. India is in dire need of help.
Actually it's the 'same source' of the story - unnamed passengers reporting their views of the reason of the stop - and disagreeing with the reason given by the crew at the time. The second story quotes the first almost word for word on key information.
That tells anyone trained in journalism, or who actually studies the media - that there is one source for the information. That source is almost certainly a single person with absolutely no supporting source used or available.
Neither story actually quotes a source. Neither story provides any details other than rumors.
Both are anti-VVIP treatment stories with tantalizing few details. No date of incident, no comments or attempt to get comments from the airline.
We just recently had a thread on this forum about passengers being allowed to deplane during diversions because the diversion airport was their final destination. It happens all around the world - it has happened to me in the US.
I could have maybe believed this kind of story if it had been a daughter of some high company chief or something, but this story is obviously rubbish, no airline crew would ever do that as it would sure result in getting fired at any airline. I doubt even state run airlines would like extra costs caused by such stop.
