To whom it may concern:
AirMalta (KM) has, as from today, ceased operations out of and into Dubai International Airport. This service commenced in the September 1992 and was operated by A320 aircraft and the flight was normally routed via BAH, and from last year via KWI. For some time KM operated the flight using a leased A310, and one flight was operated by a B737-700 leased from Maersk Air. AirMalta Dubai office will remain open until mid-October.

It also means Kuwait City has been dropped as well.

Yes Emirates serves Malta 3 times a week (tue, thurs, and sun) using an A-300. From DXB to MLA the flight is non stop. From MLA to DXB the flight makes one stop in Tripoli.

It's a bad news from Air Malta ...
They are axing Dubai, Kuwait... They are reducing capacity to Beirut , Damascus, Istanbul and they don't have the good connections they used to have to travel from Europe and North Africa to the middle east...

Actually Emirates are operating the A330-200 (low density) on the MLA/TIP run. This is because A6-EKM (the sole A300-600R) has been used on the CMB flights in light of the SriLankan situation.
If you notice they are also using the A330-200 on the LCA/ATH run.
