Incident At ORD On 2-4-13?

Good day everyone, I have a question. I was flying AC jazz from YUL-ORD arriving at ORD around 1900, we had to circle for a while over Michigan for what the pilot said was an "emergency" at ORD. I had 2 other friends on 2 seperate flights who also had the same thing happen. Did anything much happen last night at ORD, just curious.

Only thing I could see in the news is this story. Didn't hear anything in the local news about it, but then again, I do not listen to local Chicago radio or watch local TV. But I do follow the news outlets on Facebook and don't remember see this either.

I love how the media makes it sounds so bad. Had to use the escape chutes, the ERJ with the exception of the 170/190 family do not have escape slides.
