It was this week in 2012 that saw Malév Hungarian Airlines cease service and be liquidated. Here's a poster that celebrated better times...MA's 30th anniversary in 1976.

I remember a couple weeks ago out at GYR airport in Goodyear, AZ that there was a Malev plane sitting on the ramp to be scrapped. I didn't catch model or reg. number, but I remember the ceasing of operations. Sad.
