UA's IAH And CX's HKG Services Add New Freq To LHR

Just read that United are adding a third daily service to and from Houston to London Heathrow, with a 767-300ER.

Also Cathay Pacific are adding a fifth daily service to and from Hong Kong to London Heathrow, with a 777-300ER.

There´s another topic about the CX new flight to LHR. the slot is coming from AIr New Zealand and will be 3 class plane with no First class.

CX239 HKG LHR 1025 1615
CX238 LHR HKG 2235 1715


and we talk a few days ago about the new United flight to LHR, I don´t know where is the slot coming from but can easily be from another United route, also Singapore Airlines is adding another frequency using the slot from SA that is cancelling the flight from CPT to LRH.

Yep the IAH-LHR has been in the UA schedule for some time now. On March 30 they change to twice a day B763 and April 1 the add the third B763 around 2030.

I certainly hope that is the case and the B788 was/still in the March schedule. However; more and more sUA B756 flying is showing up out of IAH and B763's have been planned for LHR since I started looking at a trip to London back in early November.

Subsidiary (sUA) or pre-merger UA B752 and B763 (B756) aircraft/crews are doing more and more flying from IAH.

I'm not much of a fan, particularly those sUA B752 planes, just old interiors that need to be gutted.

At least IAH-GIG goes to a sCO B772 not a B763 on March 1!!
