Today, skyliner news reports that one of the company's six MD-11F has been ferried to MZJ for storage. So how is the company doing ?

Thanks for that. Skyliner has since changed the data from storage to heavy maintenance. I prefer this than having another MD-11 parked.

Incidentally, I know that they "bent" N988AR in Sao Paulo on 13 October 2012, and on 28 November 2012 it was under repair.

Please can anyone confirm that it is now flying again.

Still on repair in VCP. Last I heard was that the aircraft is being prepared for a ferry flight to GIG, where they will perform permanent repairs.

From what I was told, the VCP aircraft is going to be stripped of parts? Also, the flight schedule for CWC and KYE are constantly updated, and changed. If the route needs to be flown by Centurion, they will fly the trip and allocate KYE to a different route.

It was first said that it would indeed be broken up, but since it has been reported that it was being repaired.

Talking with a friend today I was told that Skyleases OTP for the military is so horrendous that they have been kicked out of the AMC program for the rest of the fiscal year. Anyone able to shed some truth on that one?
