Can anyone advise if the A320 Enhanced started and if so which line numbers? also, is it just the A320 or A319 and A321 apply as well?

Pretty sure he is refering to the interior.. The enhanced interior on the A320 series looks similar to that seen on the newer A330's and A340's.. From what I remember I believe this started in 2007 for Wizzair..

Isn't that plane referred to as "A320 Neo"?
I go things mixed up. I was about to suggest deletion but maybe someone can tell us when the neo is going to start?

That's not the NEO.

NEO is still some time away, and features the new engine option. The enhanced version OP is talking about is just the A320 sharklet (with some other changes as well), that we are just starting to see.

I don't know when it started, but Air Asia has gotten some already.

Here is the start:

Since then, IndiGo and Go Air have also received sharklets' A320s.
And Cebu Pacific.

I believe the A319 and 321 are still being certified - Also are Sharklets in service on the IAE 320s yet? (I know there are test ships for each length and engine combo)

I remember that it says "A320 enhanced" on some Alitalia A320 folders at least.

I disagree, the Airbus A32S Enhanced has been around for 7 years or so, some modifications were introduced to the ADIRS system, brakes and hydraulic systems.
A tail strike awareness system was installed and the CRT's were all replaced by bigger LCD screens.

My understanding of the enhanced is when the changes from the A318 were incorporated into the A320 production line from about MSN 3000 or so. Remember since 1988 the product has been continuously developing.

NZ is the launch customer for the IAE powered A320. NZ hasn't received any sharklets yet

As i stated in another thread on a different forum, approx 96% of ALL A320 family aircraft are sharklet capable wings. The difference is not all of them are being fitted with the sharklet straight away. At present, probably less than 50% are being fitted with the sharklet at the FAL's.

IndiGo and Jetstar Asia have received IAE powered A320s with sharklets per http://www.planespotters.net/Product...0Family/index.php?sort=cn&dir=desc
IAE powered A321s have not flown yet, while the other five variants have.
