AC has grounded all operations. Any info on other Canadian carriers?

Joe

Canadian authorities have closed all airports. Leaves Canadian airlines little room to operate.

Everything is grounded.
Just checked YUL - nearly all outbound flights are cancelled and some aircraft from the States are being diverted to YUL.

what are happening to international flights inbound to the US ???? what if they are too close to the US to turn around ??
Are they being divered to canada ???
what about flights that were operational as the airspace was closed down within the US - were they landed at the nearest airport ????
Just a really sad sad day :-(((

all Lufthansa flights which were in the air en route to North America and still before the Greenland turned back to Germany. all LH flights which already passed Greenland where redirected to Canada or elsewhere...

If only pure sweetness was offered, why's this bitter taste left in my mouth.

Air France and British Airways due in to YUL never even left their respective airports. All flights were cancelled to and from Montreal. I noticed a Royal Air Maroc flight was in the air heading to JFK - it makes a scheduled stop in Montreal before heading out back to Casablanca, but no word on that flight.

Oh wait a sec... it's been cancelled too. This is really unbelievable!!!!!!
