The Flight Academy outside DFW has replaced the old AA logo flag that flies next to the flags of the US and Texas with one bearing the new logo and font. The old-style AA flag hasn't been replaced in front of the training center for flight attendants and agents yet.

Someone needs to get a picture of 368. She will be arriving MIA at 1415 EST from MAD and tonight 2/21 she operates 112 MIA-BCN then tomorrow 2/22 flight 113 BCN-MIA and 231 MIA-LAX. So if you're at MIA this afternoon get a pic!

I'm hoping the 738 makes it to DCA at some point soon, and that I'm there to get a picture - can't wait until the Daylight Savings switch-over so I can head to Gravelly Point after work and it will still be bright out. I hate, hate, hate this new livery but maybe seeing it in person will change my mind? If not all hope is lost...
What does AA/US merger mean for CLT/JFK/PHX/North America/Southern Hemisphere/God's Plan for the Universe

Quoting N737AA (Reply 12): He did say that it would be a hard decision since many planes would be wearing it by the time the deal closes and he takes over.
An important point to keep in mind - AA will continue to repaint planes and receive newly-built ones in the new livery, and the merger is only expected to complete some time in Q3.
I read they have a target of having around 90 planes repainted by 31-Dec-2013; they're also due to receive 60 new planes (in the new livery) by the same date. If all of this is evenly spaced across the year, that's 12.5 repaints and deliveries per month. - i.e. by mid-Q3, AA would already have around 100 planes wearing the new livery (give or take 10).
Knowing management-speak, "it would be a hard decision" means "not going to happen".

Why don't we start a list of known airplanes painted in the new livery. So as far as we know there is currently at least.
Do we know if any of the new 737's recently delivered are wearing the new colors? Those would be N915NN 3KA, N916NN 3KB, and N917NN 3KC. I think it was reported before that one if not two of them were delivered in the old colors.
As far as the 77W goes, N719AN 7LC was delivered in the plain grey/white. N720AN 7LD was deliverred on 2/20 but no photos are out of it either to know whether is plain grey/white or is in full livery
