Has Virgin America ordered any A319 with sharklets? at this moment while posting I can see flight AIB515A took off from Hamburg and returning now back to Hamburg.

I couldn't take picture of 24radar but you can see if it's possible. Is it a test flight before delivery? as from flight path and pattern it looks like pre test before a delivery.

Any thoughts?

Cheers.

To be clear, was it in VX livery? VX is only taking 1 A320 in March, and then no more deliveries until 2015. They are planning on retrofitting their fleet with sharklets iirc.

Funny how closely the sharkletts resemble the new American Airlines tail!

Sharklet...winglet...exact same thing. :-P

Not sure if I care for the look. Everything has winglets these days it seems, so eh.

Any opinion/comment posted is that of my own and not that of Southwest Airlines Co.

VX's American flag design looks way better on the wingtip fences than sharkelts

You aint lying. Seems like a response to AA. Check this video out at 2:15 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-KD0PdI1Ek

I wonder if it was a direct response to that statement. LoL
