To whom it may concern: the situation at Brussels National Airport in Belgium.
Next to additional security measures on the roads leading to the airport and in-depth checking of both checked baggage and carry-ons, no cargo or air mail is allowed on passenger aircraft for the time being. Next to all flights to the US, all flights to both Tel Aviv and Beirut have have been suspended.

You might be right, Tca256. I based my statement on the information provided by BIAC (Brussels International Airport Company) directly. The spokesperson litterally said all flights to BEY and TLV were forbidden. I guess he may have overlooked LY...?!
At any rate, SN has also taken additional security measures, of which I cannot reveal anything for obvious reasons.

- ALL passengers leaving on a flight tomorrow should take into account that queues are considerably longer due to increased security measures. We therefor advise them to come to the airport well in time.

I think LY aircrafts were just allowed to go back
in Israel and not to leave the country....that

At no point did I refer to anything like a bomb on board an aircraft, Tca256. Generally speaking however, you will agree that, given the circumstances, suspending the BEY flight for the time being doesn't seem like a farfetched option.
Indeed, chances of a bomb making it on board any aircraft anywhere in the Western world are now, more than ever, close to nihil.

SN-A330, it's just what I heard the spokesman of BIAC say on TV, yesterday. I didn't have to go to work neither yesterday after the happenings, nor today, so I'm not sure, myself. I'm sure you'll get there without too much of a problem, but just make sure you do so in time. Remember the additional security measures tend to have long queues as a result.
BIAC also advises people who don't need to travel themselves, to stay out of the terminal building. It's kiss and ride...
