Their route map now shows IAH also getting freighter service but nothing in schedules anyone know more about this? early last year the map also showed Chicago freighter ops but again nothing appeared in schedule.

Well I have seen their signage at IAH's cargo facility (not certain as to who handles their cargo, though) and the occasional EK 747 SkyCargo popping up every now and then, but as far as I know, no scheduled service. Perhaps that route map also includes cities where they have offices, but no scheduled service.

perhaps it inlcudes charter destinaions is my guess, no the map only has served destinations listed otherwise it would have included others too.

Funny you should mention this...

I noticed EK has flown 77F's into ORD from CPH on the last three Sunday nights. Outbound flights early Monday mornings. I also searched their website but found nothing on flights to ORD. I'm not familiar with 9000-series flight numbers from EK, so I'm not sure if these are charters or regularly scheduled flights. Most recent flights were operated with Emirates' A6-EFD...

I hope someone could shed some light on this!

One of EK cargo's 744Fs has flown a route from IAH-SDF-IAH-PHX once and it provided one hell of a show. Apparently they're rotated in and out of IAH as needed.
