I was driving through western Long Island at 7PM EST when I saw a contrail coming high from the southwest, JFK area. It then turned east, then north again, finishing it's S- pattern.

My father thought it was a military jet. Any airliners up yet?

A/C diverted to alternate destinations are permitted to complete their trips, all others are still grounded.
