This evening, one of the reporters at WNBC here in New York reported during the 5:00pm newscast that he had been able to confirm through sources with the Port Authority police of an incident that may have been related to the other hijackings. Apparently a UAL flight (flight 93 I think he said) from JFK to LAX was preparing to depart at 9:00am. Before the aircraft left the gate there was a commotion made by three passengers believed to be of Arab descent. Things got so bad that the flight crew refused to depart the gate until the three passengers exited the aircraft. All three men refused to do so. The crew then called for armed Port Authority police to come to the aircraft and forcibly remove them, however before the officers could arrive the men left. All of this took place right before the first impact so the crew couldn't have known there might be a connection. FBI agents are or already have interviewed the flight crew.
