Air Asia X, CEO Azran Osman-Rani said the carrier is now planning to receive 7 A330-300 aircraft in 2014 to grow its fleet to 18.
With enlarged fleet the carrier is reviewing plans to add new destinations including Adelaide in Australia and Xian, Chongqing and Wuhan in China. It could fly to Nagoya in Japan and Busan in South Korea.
However the carrier says it wont stretch itself thin again, but instead also looking to grow frequencies in existing markets.
Meanwhile the the airline is also preparing for its own IPO, but final timing could be driven by upcoming general elections in Malaysia, however a June listing is likely per AirAsia Group chief executive Tony Fernandes.

I get feeling Air Asia X is more interested in the individual budget traveler, tourist and quick weekend break crowd with its destination choices then going after ethnic flow from a place like Dacca for example.
