Can someone please confirm this story I heard. An AA cabin crew member called AA ops command from her cell phone, informed them of the hijack and gave ops the seat nr. of one of the hijackers.
If this is true, what a brave women, knowing she was going to die, and performed this last act for coompany and country.
I have also heard a story of another FA found in the pentagon wreckage, her hands tied together.
Reports also about FAs forming a human shield infront of the flightdeck door of one of the jets.
Whether these reports are true or not, I would like to think that the flight and cabin crew did EVERYTHING in their power to prevent these horrific events. The general public is always quick to portray flight crew as heroic (and they are) but hardly ever mention the bravery of cabin crew-I want this to change.

SA-JET - on behalf of myself as a retired F/A and all of my colleagues around the world, thank you from the bottom of my heart! It has been a long time since someone took the time to recognize the people that do the job. Just remember these fine F/A's both from United and from American in your prayers tonight, they deserve them.

Skyhawk, you are more than welcome. It has been 3 days now since disaster struck the US-and only now am I beginning to feel the full impact and horror. Today, I am not only a South African, but an American, I grieve with you and I cry with you. I still cannot believe what I saw unfold on TV-the world has changed forever. God bless us all, be with us now, I now feel so sad, what has happended?

This is sooo sad. I also heard that an F/A called her husband and told him that she loved him and the children very much. They showed her picture and everything on the television... I just wanted to cry.
