Hi everyone! I watched an Asiana Cargo 747-400F depart SEA at around 10:50AM PDT heading presumably to ICN. Did Asiana move their cargo ops from PDX to SEA recently?

They are temporarily up there while PDX fixes runway 28L.

Two rules in aviation, don't hit anything and don't run out of gas, cause if you run out of gas yer gonna hit something.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. I've seen that plane take off from the north runway before.
All the other heavy jets use it regularly.

Not saying it's not possible.... But would be very surprising to me.
Anyone else have insight?

How sad....Portland lost another international flag cargo airline? First Cargolux, Nippon cargo, Air China cargo, Korean air cargo, and now Asiana cargo! Please tell it isn't true......

Don't think they are leaving pdx at all.
Heard they would be increasing service to PDX potentially to daily.

If the are temporarily skipping pdx (and I'm not convinced that's true) then it is likely temporary only until the south runway is repaired.

Got the official words that Asiana Cargo will return to PDX on June 10th once the south runway reopens..........All you Portland plane spotters can breath a sigh of relief lol! The shift to Seattle was only temporary for the month of May...
