I think there are some great ones out there like Air Canada, Continental, South African, Ansett amongst others, but the best by far in my opinion is the Air France tail, who ever designed it did a great job and its become even better since the design was sharpened in the early 90's

The British Airways world tails (I like them all), Deltaflot, South African, TWA's new one (R.I.P.) ATA's beach on the tail- those are my favorites.

1) I like all those BA Utopia Tails.
The DelftBlue Daybreak, Rendez-vous, Column, Benyhone Tartan...they're all stunning and make a spotter's/photographer's day of spotting a lot of fun!
2) The new VirginAtlantic scheme is sharp as well.
