If you are flying in the forseeable future, i wouldn't even conjur the word BOMB or CRASH up in my MIND lest it somehow be uttered.

I read where there have already been cases of passengers making "jokes" or "comments" on or near aircraft.

Clearly idiots with a portion of their brain not functioning.

I hate to defend idiots but, more often than not, these dumb comments at airports are a result of the increased tension. Many people use humor to deal with tension; some people just lack the necessary control to keep their mouths shut when needed.

So, really, not so much idiots as nervous air travellers.

One problem is that the word "bomb" is now used by many youth in American almost as an adjective. As in this new video game is "the bomb".
