The service was great. I will be flying them again from IND to SRQ next month. They are especially great for their non-stop flights. I have really had no problem. The crew is very friendly. The flights are very enjoyable. Been on both the L-1011 and 727 and both were great.

I flew ATA about 3 years ago from Indianapolis (IND) to St. Petersburg/Clearwater (PIE), the service is great. my two flight were on 727-200's and this year on Spring Break we are flying to Las Vegas (LAS) on ATA; these flights are non-stop from IND on L-1011's. I live near IND so my airline of choice is ATA. The only down side to ATA is that they only have prop (Jetstream 31) between IND and Chicago/Midway (MDW) {ATA's other hub}. I would consider flying ATA to Phoenix (PHX), New York JFK or LGA, but on these routes you must go through MDW. :-(

But, overall is a great airline to fly with. You actually feel like you are somebody...They treat you very personably...I guess it all starts with the "HOOSIER HOSPITALITY!!!!!!!!!"

I flew ATA back in 1995, on a charter flt from DFW-MCI (Kansas City). We were on a B727-200 that was in the old color sceam, I think that was before they started repainting their planes. The flight crew was very nice, professional and the seats were pretty comfortable. There was no meal service, but after the beverage service the attendants walked through with a basked of mints and stuff. It was kind of a nice touch, something I had never seen on a flight, in coach anyway, before.
