I had totally forgotten about that post where I speculated whether the WTC buildings could withstand a 767-300 impact. I had read something in Time, or Newsweek or some magazine like that about extremely large buildings and how well they could resist natural disasters. Gosh, that seems incredibly inappropriate and downright hellish right now. But no, I'm not a terrorist. I live in the South (you'll understand if I don't want to give the specific state right now, you guys have scared me out of my wits!). I'm a senior in high school. We were outside marching when this happened; didn't find out about it till we came in around 9:15 Central Time.

There's a 62 ct. (shut down now) post where a whole bunch of people got really freaked out about something pointless at the time I posted it about the WTC.

MD-90- I fully believe that you were just speculating in that post...as I'm sure that it would interest you after seeing it in a mag. Has anyone contacted/questioned you yet? Anyways...good luck...

If it is really you.Why have you been gone from the forum's so long? This has allowed others to feed upon your disappearance. You need to clear yourself of that one.

MD-90, you freaked out a lot of people and even made some leave. It is just weird you would ask a question like you did. The "wanna bet", now seems like a threat after what happened. But hey, it was obviously a misunderstanding and nice to meet ya! FBI talk to ya yet? They are nice guys (I know a few) and will laugh it up with you if they talk to you about it, so don't worry.

Hi, I started that post that you referred to which received the huge amount of replies, but I was not the first to notice the post you made last year. I just wanted to point out that it was really freaky how such a topic was discussed a year ago, and how scary it was to think that this tragedy actually happened. Subsequently it became a virtual 'man-hunt' which was not what I had intended and eventually requested it's deletion which thus followed.
Hopefully you understand,
Regards,
Mark

Hi MD90,somepeople in this forum were so sure that you were Usama Bin Laden sitting in acave at Afganistan explaining his terror acts "exclusively for airliners.net forumers" I think they'll be upset that you are a high school senior and also there's another thing they should be upset which is "using internet in Afganistan is strictly forbidden because its evils act"

MD-90,
Good to see that you're OK. On behalf of all of us who called the FBI (myself included), I want to say that we didn't mean to scare or inconvienince you.
You must understand that when we saw that post, and how close it was to actual events, that we were spooked, to say the least. Calling the FBI, in cases like this, is the prudent and logical thing to do.
I hope that this doesn't sour you on this forum -- we mean no personal harm, we were just reacting to something that at face value was pretty chilling.

I likewise apologize for any inconvenience caused and suggest you have a look at www.cruel.com. I reported to you to Johan rather than the FBI--I guess you're still here and that there was no problem. I welcome you back to the forum--I just hope that some of your topics aren't so morbid and eerie as the one a year ago.

On behalf of all my fellow normal buddies here on a.net, I'd like to apologize for the supidity of some people speculating that you were involved. They have this rare syndrom that nobody can find a cure for, it's called somthing like "have no life" and another common one is "I like to play cop" or somthing....anyways- good to hear from you.

SEA nw DC10, there is nothing wrong with being cautious. Please see your doctor about "I keep my mouth shut, then pretend I was right in the first place after the truth is found then run my mouth like an ass" syndrome, or something like that. It did no harm to notify people about his past posts. Some people might have over reacted, oh well. It isn't like we sent him to prison or something, geez.

Welcome back dude!
Dude, to be completely honest with you, more than a handful of us have thought the same thoughts that you have.
I know that when I first read about that B-25 going into the Empire State Bldg during WWII, I thought of the likelihood of that happening again.
It's just extremely unfortunate that it came true and that you had to deal with the many personalities here.
But I wanted to thank you for making this a better forum! Apparently, so many people though that you were a part of the conspiracy theory that they left!
The only thing I found weird was this: since you are MD-90, I thought you like them most. So why didn't you ask your quest. with MD-90 in place of 757,767?

If only y'all had just "listened" to me when I said we didn't need another terrorist attack... We wouldn't need this thread for apologies, we wouldn't have to report MD-90... The thread would have just died... But now, we all have a sense of guilt about it (including me, because I wrote in a second time.)

I sort of figured something big like a 747 would topple one of the towers, so I wasn't sure about a 767. I fly Delta's 767-300ERs every once in a while, so....
I wasn't here because school started. Band stuff (and since I'm a senior and the clarinet section leader) started in mid-July, and I haven't had much free time since then.
