I just got back to PHX from TUS. Apparently, a small single engine plane, in violation of new FAA rules grounding not IFR flights, crashed into a home in Tucson, AZ.
The news showed the smoldering wreckage and the scene was crawling with FBI agents and local sheriff's department.
In an interesting note, the plane was apparently being pursued by a black helicopter prior to crashing. An amateur photographer captured the retreating helicopter on home video. The FBI denies any knowledge of the helicopter.

Helicopters are so common over Tucson that most people don't even notice them
I found the report funny in that KVOA felt it necessary to point out there is no connection to Tuesdays attacks. Gee, really! Never would have figured that out.
Quit calling an airport ramp "Tarmac" and a taxiway "runway".
