To replace 737-300s.Order signed at Paris Air Show ? Would be a new Customer for Airbus. Afterall the choice of the A320 if confirmed , over the 737 is a logical choice , since their sisterairline in Colombia , VivaColombia , already operate it.

I am assuming this order would be for a mix of OEOs and NEOs. Anyone has any additional details?

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

Magnicharters still operates Boeing aircraft (737-300s???). On the other hand, Aeromar operates both ATR turboprops and Canadair regional jets.

That's correct they only operate 737-300s.

These must be quite old. If confirmed this is a nice win for Airbus.

Sadly not in terms of widebody planes. AM is the only Mexican long-haul operator and it has decided to go for an all-787 widebody fleet. It'd be so cool to see A330s and A350s flown by local carriers.

Of the foreign carriers serving MEX, only IB and JJ send Airbus widebodies. The other European carriers send 744s, LA and affiliates send 763ERs and that's about it. Some resort destinations may get A330s from leisure carriers from Europe, but at MEX the variety is quite limited.

The VivaAerobus order yes. I dont think Magni has any plans to replace their 733s at the moment.

Now if Airbus can get Viva to change the Aerubus into English, VivaAirbus.

I'm reading news articles where the airline is saying they are studying proposals by other manufacturers...

I really hope this order gos to Airbus but IF it has to go to someone else I hope its either Embraer (E-195) or Bombardier (C Series).

This order has Airbus writing all over it, just look at the name of the airline and you will see that from day one it was made to have a Airbus fleet

However IF (and this is a huge IF) the order has to go to another airplane manufacturer I hope it goes to either Embraer (E-195) or Bombardier (C Series)
