KTLA 5 news in L.A. has reported that there is a company that is developing a system that would lockout the manual controls in the event of a hijacking and take the aircraft to the nearest airport.I did not get the name of the company though.

I think that is a really good idea, I heard it to. I think it would be great if they did that.

I have been saying this "panic button" idea seems feasible since Tuesday. It has been met with no evidence to suggest that it would not work.
