It's a very interesting time of the year at Mumbai (although pilots and controllers would probably not use that word); I guess Ahmadabad becomes a lot busier during this time!
Does windshear become an issue in weather like this? I've never heard of windshear accidents at BOM, but if there are monsoon conditions, then it must cause some issues.

Looks like some flights are trying to wait it out. I do agree that Ahmedabad airport is likely to get busy with diverting flights in this season. I have not heard of windshear in
BOM. Perhaps those are with thunderstorms and these are rains.... Maybe??

Its been raining the whole day.......In fact lots of winds too.......
Luckily its a Sunday so no worknight at the Airport.......
At Mumbai the winds can be real strong at times.Visibility can go real poor in heavy rains.
Right now ...The rains have stopped though.......
Think of the brighter side!

I had a flight to
DEL at 1300 but we had to hold for almost an hour before we were cleared for departure.
An airplane might disappoint any pilot but it'll never surprise a good one.
