I am assuming the E-175 E2 for Skywest will need to be adjusted from 80 seats being mentioned by Embraer in 2 classes to 76 including E+ seats, to comply with scope limits for DL and United's contracted operations, or does this hint at these carriers attempting to ratchet up scope limits slightly by the 2020 time frame when the E175 E2 is supposed to get their EIS?

Possibly. Only time will tell for that.

Quoting rj777 (Reply 8): Maybe there's more into the development of the E175E2 than the others?
I think the larger ones are more urgent competition-wise. The E175E2 only has the MRJ s a competitor - if we discount the Sukhoi RRJ and the Antonov 158 -, and the MRJ seems to be a never-ending story of delays... Whereas the E190/195 will compete with the Bombardier CS110/130 which seem to be a more serious threat.
Thanks, I was about to open such a thread myself. However, I would extend its purpose to include any non-Airbus/Boeing order (which are mostly regionals, true, but could also be orders for MS-21, C919... Basically I'd make it a place to discuss orders for other manufacturers, in particular smaller ones that don't get the same media attention and orders that wouldn't warrant their own thread.
Quote: Bombardier announced today that VistaJet, a world-leading luxury aviation company and exclusive operator of Bombardier business aircraft, has placed firm orders for 20 Challenger 350 jets and options for an additional 20 Challenger 350 jets. The transaction for the firm aircraft order is valued at approximately $518 million US based on 2013 list prices. If all the options are exercised, the total value of the order is approximately $1.035 billion US, based on 2013 list prices.
Quote: Bombardier Aerospace announced today that it has received firm orders for 12 Global 8000 business jets from an undisclosed customer. The transaction is valued at approximately $804 million US, based on the 2013 list price for typically equipped aircraft.
