Quoting LAXintl (Thread starter): I believe the tails in question are MSN 527, 529 and 532 which are 3 of 4 widebodies Gulf Air placed into storage this March as part of the carriers restructuring plans.
Fantastic to see these birds finding a new owner. Any word on what's happening to cn 992
With a 6-year lease, it probably makes sense for TK to change the configuration of these aircraft in to a similar configuration of the existing A332 fleet. I believe these aircraft are still configured in their old MEA configuration.

These 3 planes are originally MEA and then they came to GF. Their configuration is 42J (cradle seats offering a 42 inch seat pitch) along with 208Y class seats. The J class seats are very sub-standard for this day and age and its good to see that TK will be refurbishing them to get it in line with its own on board cabin product before taking delivery !
So with 3 additional A332s coming in during W13, we can expect to see lots of capacity/frequency upgrades and maybe a new interesting medium/long haul destination.
