Why ont they just do a barrel roll, 707 style?

A most wonderful flying display by these two brilliant test pilots.

I was fortunate to be shown the aircraft for a private visit yesterday morning. I got to see the whole aircraft inside and out, the cabin from beginning to end and back and flight deck galore. The aircraft i s still under Boeing care, not yet being delivered to Air India.

Thank you Boeing!

Will see if I can post some of my pictures later. I have an all day meeting today - yet no airplanes this time. I had the privilege to be shown inside two 787s and a 380 in one day!

Must be because of time limit. Airbus test pilot told me how each aircraft programmed on the displays had a 7 minutes slot to do their demos. Tight timings at Le Bourget so maybe this is why.

At Farnborough they get more time.

I would guess two things might factor in. The 787 need all the good press it can get. And also the lack of other Boeing aircraft making flying demos due to seqestration limiting U.S. military partisipation.

Could you imagine the fit that Air India would have?


Great demonstration of this plane though, it really looks graceful in the air.
