My apologies if this was covered earlier; I did a search but couldn't readily find anything on this subject. Hopefully I don't get screamed at (again)
Last night, I noticed two China Airlines aircraft at the International Terminal A at SFO. Upon looking around FlightView's list of CI flights between TPE and SFO, it looks like CI's started flying more than 7 flights on this route per week. From what I can tell, CI 4 (a 747) is operating daily as per usual, but they've added an A340 (CI 2004) at least twice...I saw it listed on Wednesday as well as the Sunday flight that I witnessed. At first, I thought this was a one-off, but it looks like they may be doing this regularly.
Just out of curiosity, what's the frequency of the second flight, and is this a seasonal thing, or will they be running it permanently?

What would be a wonderful sight to see CI A340 at SFO! To me, the CI livery looks great on A340, more so than A330.
Is this additional flight to cater for summer peak traffic?
I wonder, the same route, using A340, how much longer would be the flight time as compared with B747?
