With the new business class concepts of British Airways, Virgin and now Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines offering fully reclineable seating I wonder if there will be the need for First.

Of cource these carriers - exept Virgin - offer individual cabins in first class but the new business concepts comes very close to the same standard. The worldwide economical slowdown - not made better by the WTC disaster - will obviously end up with fewer first class passengers. And with a similar product in business it is hard to see the need for first. Or what do you think?

By the way - does anyone know the seatpitch of SIA and Cathay´s new business classes?
