Is there any way anyone here who works at UAL could tell me the registration #'s of the aircraft which operated UA Flight 199 IAD-SFO on 12/29/1988 (a 757-200) & UA Flight 806 SFO-IAD on 1/8/1999 (a 767-200)? I always write down the reg. #'s of aircraft I fly on however I misplaced the reg. #’s from the a/c on this particular trip & my friend who traveled with me on this trip wants to know if either of these UA a/c were involved in the 9/11/2001 attack. For some reason the reg. # N612UA sounded familiar to me when I learned it was the UA 767-200 involved in the attack & I can't help wondering if I flew aboard this a/c back in Jan. 99. If any UA people could answer this I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I was in the air aboard N144DA a DL767-300 operating as DL flight 571 CVG-SLC when the attack happened we were diverted to KCI. It was quite a horrifying & sad day for aviation as well as the nation.
