Just heard from someone working for the Ticketing Department in Hong kong, that UAL's flight from HKG-SIN, as well as from HKG-LAX, will be suspended in October and will resume service in November.

UA would be downright crazy to suspend SFO-HKG. That route is a major moneymaker for UA.

UA has some major cancellations for the month of October. Here is a list of intl routes that I have been able to locate that are being dropped.

It will not be brought back before December...especially for the UA flight to SIN since they don't make any profit because of nearly up to 20 flights everyday and they only have one flight..And people could choose to fly on her Star Alliance Member Carriers...but for LAX it's hard to say now...anyways they are planning to suspend both routes starting from 1st Oct and latests news is they will NOT just suspend for 1 month.
