Hello!

Do you have any suggestions? I have two commercials of Finnair:

http://www.finnair.fi/yritysinfo/mainokset/movies/Home%20for%20the%20evening%20(sf).mov

and

http://www.finnair.fi/yritysinfo/mainokset/movies/Good%20day's%20morning%20(sf).mov

The music is absolutely fabulous!!!

Please suggest your own favourite commercial and include a link so we all can enjoy it!

Happy day to all

In my area, we never see airline commercials. An occasional American Airlines one, but thats it.

The DL "Adeamus" commercials were pretty cool. The QF "Kangaroo Dreaming" Olympic spots were corny but cute.

Old folks like me might recall the National Airlines "Fly Me" campaign of the late sixties. Sexist and politically incorrect by todays standards. I loved it!

I always liked Airtran's "The Kiss!". Little did they know that it would help push Delta to re-start the lowfare wars.

Sorry, the previous post linked to "Standoff", but I never really liked that as much.

There used to be this one Iberia commercial in Spain back in 1994, it was the greatest commercial though, it had wonderful classical music and this plane flying through dusk and being able to see the towns below in the darkness, ohhh absolutely gorgeous!!

Twinjets...if one fails, work the other one twice as hard!!!

I will never forget a KLM commercial where a swan appeared, supposedly being a 747-400, and it showed in slow motion how the swan took off with the cockpit noises, and also the engine's beautiful sound

The Delta commercials that were promoting the win of the NY Yankees in 1998 along with John Glen's Space travel in 1999. I think they alos has the adeamus theme song. Does anyone know where I can get it I miss it very much. Why the hell did Leo had to ruin such a good thing! His paint schem ain't winning me over. Atleast make it look half decent by adding a cheatline. The fusalage looks so boring.

My favorite airline commercial was that of Fed Ex about 5 years ago. It had an airline pilot riding an elephant out on the flightline. Seconds later the elephant taxied onto the runway, and began its takeoff roll! The it lifted off making a right climbing turn! The pilot look so serious at his job. The takeoff roll was accompanied by the sound of turbofan engines. That was bad-ass!!!

In the 70's there was a Braniff commercial with a little granny who steals candy, magazines, glasses, silverware, and blankets from the plane, then steals a tug and eventually the 707 itself.

"Oh we're not against souvenier-hunting...so long as it doesn't get out of hand..."

Quite humorous...the Wattsmedia Braniff video has this plus a bunch of other Braniff commercials, press video, and air-to-air footage, in case anyone is interested.

I must go for same as RJ_Delta. It's nice and the music is great.
So Delta gets my vote.

When in doubt, flat out!
