Aerolíneas Argentinas has taken delivery of it's first second-hand A330-200. The aircraft (MSN 290) with registration LV-FNI once belonged to Sabena. Three more second-hand A330s will join the fleet shortly and are all leased from ILFC.
The economy seats look like and older style from the front but from the back you can see the nice PTVs! What size are they? 9" A big upgrade from the cabins on the A343 and A342! The mood lighting and the first class looks amazing! Good Job AR!
Quoting DeltaB717 (Reply 3): Dream time: wouldn't it be lovely to see AR with A345 or A346 to do SYD!
Hey maybe they can take up those 2 SQ A345s that will be retired after SIN-EWR an SIN-LAX are discontinued
And isn't VS looking to ditch their A346s? They should call up the Argentines

Good to see a new aircraft type in Aerolineas Argentinas colors.
With that said, I am underwhelmed by the A330. I used to love the plane. Looked so great in photos... until I finally got to see my first A330s in the flesh while traveling overseas over the summer. The plane is so 'vanilla' in person. Nothing exciting about it, at all. I saw both the -200 and -300 variants. The RR-equipped jets were the worst. Those Trents (I think they're Trents) looked terrible to me. I saw a GE-powered -200 operated by Air Mauritius, and it was the looker of all the A330s I saw. It was still quite boring. Just a personal opinion. I was just very unimpressed with the aircraft. Not trying to start a war, just giving my opinion. Still a marvelous aircraft for its capabilities.
I AM A NORTHWEST AIRLINES & EMIRATES LOVER! MY FAVORITE FLIGHTS HAVE BEEN ON THE 777, 727, DC-9, A320, AND 737.
